  1. Sign up if you haven’t already done so in order to take advantage of all the features CrowdedCollege.com has to offer.
  2. Use the abstract tool located to the right.  To make your abstract stand out, use descriptive titles like “Heart Sounds” “Breath Sounds”.  Short, simple, and succinct.  You can also add html codes for links, images, etc.  in the content.  However, spam will not be tolerated and your abstract may be deleted.  If you use an abbreviation, make sure you add it to the “abbrev.” list.
  3. Make sure your abstract is less than or equal to 100 words.  The abstract tool will not allow you to publish abstracts that are longer than that.  Plus, who has time to read a novel anyway?  The ability to retain copious amounts of information in a maximally short amount of time is the goal.
  4. Once you have signed up to the site and used the abstract tool to publish short, simple, and succinct information for the masses, you will be given ranking points.  To increase your ranking points, connect with members by adding them as friends, commenting on their abstracts, and stimulate conversation through forum topics, etc..  Ranking points will be allocated to members and individual abstracts.  Scholarship money is given to the top 3 most popular abstracts each month.  Popularity is calculated automatically based on several variables.  Abstract rankings are resetted each month and member ranking points are non-transferrable.
  5. Scholarships are given out each month and the amount is based on alumni donations, investors, and advertising revenue CrowdedCollege.com generates minus the cost of running the site, i.e. server costs, labour costs, advertising costs,  etc.  Thus, the amount given out may be different each month.
