I’m a 20 something year old medical student currently residing in Australia. I do not have a background in web, graphic, or computer programming. Everything that I needed to create this website was readily available online and free of charge. In that way, I have always been fascinated with the wealth of knowledge the internet can provide. As a result, this site is still a work in progress.
THECONCEPT
I came up with the concept when I was doing my emergency medicine term a few months ago. During that term I noticed that whenever I would verbally report my history and examination findings of a patient to the senior doctor, he would always cut me down and told me that he only wanted to hear relevant things because doctors in general have low attention spans. This is true because there simply isn’t enough time to hear everything, let alone process, store, and retrieve that information for future use. As a profession, we like to share short snippets of information that’s succinct and simple to understand. The hard part is trying to convey this information to the general public without using jargon.
